NOTICE – TOWN OF WINDHAM – STATUTORY INSTALLMENT BOND SERIES 2025 #1

NOTICE OF ADOPTION OF RESOLUTION PROPOSING TO FINANCE AND EXPEND THE SUM OF $100,000.00 (ONE HUNDRED THOUSAND DOLLARS).

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that at a Regular Meeting of the Town Board of the TOWN OF WINDHAM, Greene County, New York duly called and held at the Town Hall, Windham, NY on the 14^th day of August in the year 2025, it was on motion duly made, seconded and passed,

NOW, THEREFORE IT IS

RESOLVED that a sum of $100,000.00 (One Hundred Thousand Dollars) be financed by way of a Statutory Installment Bond, to partially finance the purchase of a new highway department truck, and it was further

RESOLVED, that the validity of said statutory installment bond issued may be contested only if:

(1)        Such obligations are authorized for an object or purpose for which the Town is not authorized to expend money; or

(2)        The provisions of law which should be complied with at the date of the publication of this resolution are not substantially complied with;

and an action, suit or proceeding contesting such validity is commenced within twenty days after the date of such publication; or

(3)        Such obligations are authorized in violation of the provisions of the Constitution of New York.
