Notice To Bidders

Town of Windham, Greene County, NY is seeking sealed bids for Hot Mix Asphalt in place. Approximately 1,550 US Tons, type 6-12.5 mm top with a maximum rap blend proportion of 9.5 nominal maximum size mixtures is 20.0 % by weight of the total mixture.

• No escalation cost in the bid.
• The paving will be placed on Mill Street approximately 1.60 miles x 18 feet @ 1.5 inches compacted.
• Milling for start/finish, blacktop driveways, and intersections
• Driveways will have 12 inch bump outs.
• Town will supply water, traffic control, and any necessary sweeping.
• Work must start after June1st, 2026 and must be completed by September 3rd, 2026. There will be a restriction on paving July 27th through July 31st, 2026, and No Holiday Paving
  

Sealed bids will be marked HMA bid, and be accompanied with a non-collusive bidding certification form, Section 103-d of the General Municipal Law. Bids will be accepted until 3:00 p.m. on April 9th, 2026. Bids will be opened and read aloud at the town board meeting at 7:00 pm on April 9th, 2026 at the Windham Town Hall (371 state route 296 Hensonville, N.Y. 12439). Bids can also be mailed to Town of Windham Town Clerk at P.O. Box 96 Hensonville, NY 12439.

The Town of Windham reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
