NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a public hearing shall be held by the Town Board of the Town of Windham at the Town Hall, located at 371 NY Route 296, Hensonville, NY 12439 on Thursday, April 30, 2026 at 6:00 p.m. The purpose of this hearing is to hear comments from the public on final proposed zoning regulations (Local Law No. 2 of 2026) for the Town of Windham pursuant to NYS Town Law, Article 16, Subsection 266 (Adoption of First Zoning Ordinance).
At such time anyone wishing to speak upon this matter shall be heard. Interested individuals may also submit written comments on this matter by a letter or email to the Town Clerk’s office in care of [email protected] until 4:00 pm the date of the hearing.
A copy of the proposed local law can be found on the Town’s website at https://townofwindhamny.com/ and at https://wearewindham2040.com/. Paper copies of the full zoning text and accompanying zoning map are also available for viewing at the office of the Town Clerk at the address noted above.
