Bid Notice: Flower Watering & Maintenance Services (2026–2027)

            Notice is hereby given that sealed bids for watering and maintenance for annual flowers at town signs, Hensonville Park fountain and garden beds. The Bid this year will be good for two years 2026 & 2027. Please submit the bid to the Town of Windham at the office of the Town Clerk, 371 State Route 296, PO Box 96, Hensonville, New York 12439 until 12:00 noon local time on Thursday, April 9, 2026 and will be opened and read aloud at the Town Board meeting at 7:00 pm on April 9, 2026.

The Town Board reserves the right to reject any and all bids.

Water and Maintenance Specifications For two years 2026 & 2027

The following specifications describe water and maintenance for the Town of Windham flower beds;

1. The Bid must be clearly marked in a sealed envelope (water and maintenance)
2. A non-collusive Bidding Certificate must be attached with the bid at the opening.
3. The bidder must supply a statement which shows at least five years of landscape experience in the field of planting maintaining shrubs and flowers.
4. Bid will include all labor, equipment and materials. (liquid mix fertilizer)
5. All beds will be watered and weeded once a week starting this first week in June of 2026 & 2027 until the end of June.
6. All beds will be watered and weeded twice a week for the months of July and August.
7. All beds will be watered and weeded once a week for the month of September.
8. All beds will have fall clean up of dead plants and flowers the last week of October.

27. Town Board reserves the right to reject any and all bids or to accept the bid deemed most advantageous to the Town.
