PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Town of Windham Planning Board will hold a public hearing on June 18, 2026 at 7:00 p.m. at the Windham Town Hall, located at 371 NY-296, Hensonville, NY, to receive public comment on the application of Windham Mountain Partners, LLC (the “Applicant”) for an amendment to the Site Plan and Preliminary Plat approvals issued by the Town of Windham Planning Board in April 2025. The proposed amendment will eliminate eight (8) of the approved residential structures and lots (14A & B, 13A-E, and 34) and replace them with a 26-room hotel and associated four-bedroom detached unit/cottage for commercial use. The proposed amendment involves an approximately 3.4-acre portion of the project site (SBLs 95.-6-5 & 95.10-3-34). In addition, a roughly 0.6-acre portion of an existing 0.75-acre unpaved parking area would remain as existing where a paved 21-space parking lot (“valet lot”) was previously proposed. There would also be modifications to the stormwater system, landscaping, lighting, and utility plans to accommodate the two proposed buildings. All application documents, including but not limited to site plan sheets, proposed plat, updated engineering reports, technical comments by the Planning Board’s designated engineer and Applicant responses, and Negative Declaration for the Windham Mountain Redevelopment Project adopted by the Planning Board as Lead Agency under the State Environmental Quality Review Act (“SEQRA”) in September 2024 are available for review at the Town Clerk’s office and through the Planning Board’s website (https://townofwindhamny.gov/boards/planning-board/). Interested members of the public are encouraged to attend and comment. The Planning Board will also consider any written comments that are received.
