NOTICE OF PERMISSIVE REFERENEDUM
EXPENDITURE FROM WINDHAM FIRE DISTRICT NO.1’S
CAPITAL RESERVE FUND

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Board of Fire Commissioners of the Windham Fire District No. 1 (“Fire District”) at a meeting held on the __4th__ day of __April_, 2026, duly adopted the following Resolution, subject to a permissive referendum.

RESOLUTION _040426__:

A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE BOARD OF FIRE COMMISSIONERS OF THE FIRE DISTRICT, TO EXPEND FROM THE WINDHAM FIRE DISTRICT NO. 1’S CAPITAL RESERVE FUND AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED $_400,000 ___ TO PAY TOWARDS THE PURCHASE OF A NEW __”Tanker”__ TRUCK, PURSUANT TO NEW YORK GENERAL MUNICIPAL LAW §6-g.

BE IT RESOLVED, that this Resolution is adopted subject to a permissive referendum as provided in the General Municipal Law of the State of New York, and be it

FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Secretary of the Fire District shall, within ten working days of the adoption of this resolution, publish notice within the official newspaper of the Fire District setting forth the date of the adoption of the resolution and an abstract of the resolution concisely stating the purpose and effect thereof and that the resolution was adopted subject to a permissive referendum.
